Re-installing 10.6.6 combo

I got my iMac from service yesterday. What I did first was a full system recovery using my Time Machine backup :)
The thing is that Finder and Safari were not working properly – they crashed many times. Also, Quick Look was not working at all – not the usual Mac experience.


I googled a little, and I found that re-installing the Mac OS X 10.6.6 combo update may help. I did that and everything looks fine now – I hope it will stay fine.

Find my iPhone

Yesterday, I forgot my iPhone.
As I had to do some appointments, I could go back and search for it.
Well, I cannot tell you how much "Find my iPhone" helped me –it located the iPhone and kept me calm :)


Kudos to Apple for offering it for free!
