Created an iPhone Application!

I just created an iPhone Application using Dashcode.

Exposé and new Apple keyboards

• Ctrl-F3: Current application windows mode
• Command-F3: Show desktop mode
• Option-F3: Opens the Exposé & Spaces System Preferences panel.

Although I enjoy my compact aluminum wired Apple keyboard, I was looking for the above shortcuts, and especially for the Command-F3 one.

Installing the iPhone SDK

Yesterday, I saw the iPhone of a friend of mine – I do not have one and I think that I am going to wait for iPhone OS 3.0 before buying one.

Today, I am installing the iPhone SDK!

The UNIX Programming Environment

This is the best UNIX book, ever! Just buy it, run, do not walk, to a bookstore, and buy it!

Copying to a USB stick

I am currently trying to copy 2 ISO files (2.23Gb and 3.27Gb respectively). It won't take Mac OS X 10.5 2 hours to copy them (although the first estimation was, indeed, 2 hours!!!) but I think it takes Mac OS X 10.5 too long (I think it will take about 20 minutes to copy them).

The USB stick is 8Gb in size and I connected it to the USB port of a 23'' Apple Cinema Display.

Do you happen to know the reason it takes that much?
